Member Spotlight: Rabbi Jayne Simon

Jayne Simon is BUSY.  Very, very busy.

Busy being a Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Friend, Hospice Chaplain, Rabbi and, WEDDING OFFICIANT.

Jayne is a petite, stylishly dressed lady who has an inexhaustible  amount of energy.  An energy she brings to every meeting, every conversation, every event of which she is a part.

An Ohio girl (born and raised) Jayne grew up with a hunger for knowledge and a passion for all things spiritual.  She has two Master’s and a Doctorate Degree. 

She is one of the first and few women to have received her Rabbinic Ordination (Simcha) from the Rabbinical Seminary in New York.

As a Rabbi she conducts all the events that are an important part of Jewish life: child naming ceremonies, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, the consecration of a home, etc.

As a Hospice Chaplain for 17years (Central Coast Chaplain) she walks alongside those individuals and families who are dealing with issues of life and death offering them grace, hope and faith

And as a WEDDING OFFICIANT, she brings energy, creativity and joy to the process of working with couples to create and perform their wedding ceremonies.
