Michele Hastings is an amazing photographer. She possesses the perfect balance of passion, personality and professionalism necessary to excel at her craft. Born and raised in Reno, Nevada, Michele came to the Central Coast in 2009 for college. She graduated Cal Poly in 2013 and a year later founded Nikkels Photography.
Michele’s artistic bent (interest in and inclination toward photography) first surfaced as a ten year old. She began her career behind the lens of a camera by taking photos of nature and wildlife. In her late teens she was schooled and specialized in landscape photography.
Her ever expanding portfolio now includes, but is not limited to, engagement shoots, weddings, anniversaries, individual and family portraits, corporate and community events, retirements, etc. Michele has a real awareness of how quickly life runs past and of how important it is, therefore, to memorialize on film, the events which shape our lives.
