You will love Leah Gilbertson when you meet her. (We did!) She is smart, fun, funny, creative, and incredibly gifted. 

As the founder and leader of Dreamcatcher Artistry she (literally) brings out the best in people.  She and her team are a muti-award winning group of hair and makeup artists who know exactly how to make their clients “feel and look like their best selves – confident and resilient”. Leah’s interest in hair and makeup as a kid, turned into her passion as a teenager; led to her acceptance to and graduation from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles with a degree in Beauty Merchandising and Marketing. She followed that up with numerous Beauty, fashion, special FX and hairstyling certificates from The Makeup Designory (MUD) in Burbank.

She founded Dreamcatcher Artistry in 2011…

…in Santa Barbara and after successfully building a large and loyal clientele in Southern California, expanded her business to the San Francisco, Bay Area. During which she also had the privilege of teaching at Blush School of Makeup in downtown San Francisco. In 2017 she moved to the Central Coast and brought her brilliance for beauty and many years of experience in the wedding industry to this area. 

Leah has extensive experience in the entertainment and music industries, having worked with a number of celebrities.

  But her true joy comes from making her clients and their wedding day, or special day, or any day, beautiful. We are so excited to have Leah as a member of the Central Coast Wedding Professionals.  She expands and enhances the great work our members do in making the wedding day dreams of couples come true.
